WSOR Special Box Cars In December, 2007, Wisconsin Central unveiled this special box car in memory of Lucy Stone Gardner, late wife of WSOR owner Bill Gardner. Athearn brought the model to you in 2008. We are making this rerun to make this special car available to all those modelers who missed it the first time. And again, we will donate a portion of the sales to the American Cancer Society. Era: 2007-now • Fully assembled • Perfect for small home layouts • Razor-sharp printing and painting • RP25 profile machined 33” metal wheel sets • McHenry® scale knuckle spring couplers • Weighted for optimum performance • Separately applied grab irons, ladders, stirrup steps, brake wheel, brake stand and underbody details
Additional community-contributed notes or observations.
