The Rescue Truck is utilized for fire support and many other situations. This includes traffic collisions, flood and other water rescue missions, among many other emergencies. It is designed primarily to carry firefighters and their entry gear, and equipment for fire extinguishing and light rescue. The specialized duty rescue truck is not outfitted with a pump, although it may carry additional equipment to aid in various diverse roles.
