The Southern Railway inherited a batch of EMD GP18's from Central of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama & Georgia, and the original Norfolk Southern. They were painted into SOU's "Tuxedo" scheme and could be found in yards and on locals. A few were even painted with Central of Georgia lettering.
