Fort Worth & Denver purchased 12 ICC Extended Vision cabooses (#'s 151-162) in November 1967. Since the railroad was a subsidiary of the CB&Q these cabooses closely followed the parent company's designs and came in full CB&Q paint with small FW&D markings. When the CB&Q was made part of the Burlington Northern system in March 1970 the FW&D became a subsidiary of the BN until it was fully absorbed in the early 1980's. They received BN colors but also retained the small FW&D markings as they had when they were in the CB&Q family.
